As is well known, the Woodland School District has decided to ELIMINATE pay for all Freshman Sports coaches. When one of my friends drove by the BLUE CROSS/SCHOOL DISTRICT offices the other day, there were about 70 cars parked there, with three spaces for visitors, all of which were empty.
My suggestion is that we could pay for ALL Freshman coaches, who only get a stlipend for their time and travel, with the elimination of 1 person in the District Offices.
We used to be a GREAT sports town, we used to have a Tomato Festival and we used to have a good school board. Where did we go wrong?
