Health Care Debate Enters the "TWILIGHT ZONE"

The vote in the Senate last Saturday evening, the debate now progresses into the "Twilight Zone".
Let's see:

To buy Mary Landreau's vote the Democrats  plunked down $300,000,000 of your money.

Flordia was given an exemption on the Advantage portion no doubt to buy the Senior Vote there by exempting all seniors who were already on medicare to keep their Advantage Coverage.  Only new enrollees, after the bill passes, will be subject to the cuts to the advantage program, which includes all of those Baby Boomers who will be entering the system.

The Democratic liberals will fight to put back in the Abortion language, while the Conservatives on both sides will fight to keep it out.

The Democratic liberals want the public option forefront, while the Conservatives on both sides want to kick it to the curb.

If the cuts in medicare are implemented, the states will be responsible anywhere from 10-20% of the costs they will have to bear.

This is clearly NOT a reform bill, but it does have a smattering of reform, completely overwhelmed by a huge
redistribution of coverage, to be paid for by Senior Citizens, Small Businesses and the productive portion of our economy, the Taxpayer at large.

When are we going to stop this nonsense?  There has to be a better way!

ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER -"FRIEND OR FOE"?

 It is no wonder that Attorney General Eric Holder, formerly as senior legal advisor to Barack Obama, wants to shut down Gitmo! As reported from many sources, his former law firm Covington & Burling is currently scheduled to represent detainees from Gitmo and at this date it is reported that they are already representing 12 detainees.

To this writer, this seems to be a blatant conflict of interest on Mr. Holder's part, given the fact that he has spearheaded the closing of Gitmo, which, when accomplished, would potentially allow all of the accused terrorists to fall under the court system, given rights as citizens, rather than through a military tribunal where they should be tried.   If this happens, Covington & Burling should be BANNED  from any further representation of these or any other terrorists or Mr. Holder should recuse himself from any further discussion regarding Gitmo or the detainees there.   Under the Obama administration, neither is likely to happen.

 

  

WHO IS BARACK OBAMA?

There is very little we know about Barack Obama.  The following is a list of things missing or being withheld, from the President who campaigned for a more "open government" and "full disclosure"

1. His medical records, 
2. His school records
3. His birth records 
4. His passport records. 
5. He will not release his Harvard records, his Columbia College records, or his Occidental College records.
6. All his legislative records from the Illinois State Senate are missing and he claims his scheduling records during those State Senate years are lost as well. 
7. No one can find his school records for the elite K-12 college prep school, Punahou School, he attended in Hawaii.

 Which leads us to once again ask, "Who is Barack Obama?"

ANY SENIOR CITIZEN ON AN ADVANTAGE PLAN SHOULD ACTIVELY OPPOSE THE HEALTH REFORM ACT.

Blue Dog Democrats from California who voted for the Health Care Bill.

Of the 53  "Blue Dog" so-called  fiscal conservative Democrats who voted for the Health Care Bill in the House of Representatives, seven were from California, with 1 from our area. They are as follows:

The bill contains over 730 BILLION in Taxes that could cripple small businesses.

House Passes Their Version of the Health Care Bill

Last night, about 11:09, the House of Representatives passed their version of the Health Care Reform Act.

The House of Representatives, by a vote of 220 to 115 passed their version of the Health Care Reform Act with only 1 "Republican" voting for it.

As they cheered and congratulated each other, it finally became clear to many that the battles fought in the house are no longer between Republicans, Independents and Democrats.  It is now a battle between Socialism and Capitalism and is sure to generate a tangible "Revolution" in America. 


The story, however, is not over.  The Senate has the chance to throw this vote aside, as they have often done in the past.  This is a short-lived victor for the Dems.


It does, however, for many reveal the true enemies of the American way.
