The Woodland City Council held a marathon meeting last evening. The main topic, of course, was the Theatre proposals in Downtown Woodland.
I had predicted that probably 90% of those speaking would be in favor of renovation and expansion of the State Theatre. It was more like 99%. This was undoubtedly one of the most informative Council meetings held that I can remember. (I was unable to attend, but watched it on cable)
The real question, however, is whether the City Council will follow the will of the people, or come up with some way to do an end-around on their will, which they have done in the past.
